Congressman Andy Kim Heads Into Final Stretch of Senate Campaign With Huge Grassroots Showing: Ends Q3 with $2.4 Million Raised; Over $11.4M for the Cycle
MOORESTOWN, N.J. - Today, Congressman Andy Kim announced he raised $11.4 million dollars for this U.S. Senate race with $2.4 million coming during the 3rd quarter of 2024 that highlights the grassroots energy powering the final stretch of his historic campaign.
Receiving over 34,170 donations this quarter, individual donations averaged $62.20, and approximately 95% of all contributions received totaled $100 or less. Since the launch of his Senate campaign, Kim has raised from over 141,000 donations, all without accepting a single penny from corporate PACs. He enters the final month with nearly $4 million cash on hand.
“I stepped up to run for Senate because I felt the people of New Jersey needed a choice for a different kind of politics,” said Congressman Andy Kim. “Quarter after quarter, we continue to see grassroots donations powering this campaign and I am incredibly grateful for the support that we continue to see from the people, not the well-off and well-connected, who are ready for a new era of leadership here in New Jersey.”
As a son of immigrants and a graduate from New Jersey public schools, Congressman Andy Kim has been proud to represent his home community in Congress. Andy is a young father of two little boys and represents a new generation of leadership stepping up to fix our broken politics. As a former national security official, Andy previously advised President Obama on counterterrorism and worked for four-star generals in Afghanistan.
Andy went on to win a Congressional district that Trump won twice by defeating three consecutive self-funding republican millionaires. In his three terms in Congress, Andy has worked hard to lower costs for New Jersey families, helped support small businesses through challenging times, and has battled House Republicans in the fight to restore protections for women in the aftermath of the 2022 Dobbs decision. Andy is now stepping up to run for Senate to fight against corruption and restore integrity to public service.
