NEW AD: Congressman Kim Launches Second Ad of General Election Highlighting Vision for New Jersey
MOORESTOWN N.J. — Today, Congressman Andy Kim announced the launch of a new statewide, seven-figure ad-buy, “Change”, aimed at showing what is possible with a new era of politics in New Jersey while highlighting actions he has taken in office to put New Jersey families first, like capping insulin prices at $35 for seniors, working to lower housing costs, and championing the strongest anti-corruption bill in a generation.
To highlight the extraordinary grassroots energy of this people-powered campaign, this innovative ad was shot on a still photo camera, combining a burst of 360 individual photos with almost a hundred real New Jersey residents holding print-outs of Congressman Kim as individual photos of them. The end product is a 30 second eye-catching "video" ad that uses no video whatsoever, only still photos.
“For years, New Jersey has seen politicians putting themselves and special interests ahead of the needs of families and our communities, but I believe a new kind of politics is possible,” said Congressman Andy Kim. “This November, we will change our broken system and get to work putting people, not the well-off and well-connected, first. ”
“Change” AD TEXT:
[Andy Kim]: I’ll just say it-I believe our broken politics have to change.
It’s why I’ve never accepted a dime of corporate PAC money.
And sponsored the strongest anti-corruption bill in a generation.
I believe we can put our families before big corporations and profits.
So I stood up to special interests to cap insulin at $35 dollars a month for seniors.
And I'm working to lower housing costs.
I’m Andy Kim, and I approve this message because I believe in New Jersey.
