Congressman Andy Kim Receives Massive Endorsement From SEIU’s New Jersey State Council in His Bid for U.S. Senate
MOORESTOWN N.J. – Today, Congressman Andy Kim announced the endorsement of the SEIU New Jersey State Council in his bid for U.S. Senate. One of the largest unions in the state, the State Council includes members from 1199 SEIU Healthcare Workers East; Laundry, Distribution and Food Service Joint Board of Workers United, The Committee of Interns and Residents, and 32BJ Motor Vehicle Inspectors. The State Council’s mission is to improve the quality of life of New Jersey’s working families by fighting for living wages, safe working conditions, and fair schedules, while promoting health care for all, pensions, and the opportunity for advancement.

As a son of immigrants and a graduate from New Jersey public schools, Congressman Andy Kim has been proud to represent his home community in Congress. Andy is a young father of two little boys and represents a new generation of leadership stepping up to fix our broken politics. As a former national security official, Andy previously advised President Obama on counterterrorism and worked for four-star generals in Afghanistan. Andy went on to win a Congressional district that Trump won twice by defeating three consecutive self-funding republican millionaires.
