Congressman Andy Kim Announces Senate Endorsement From Sierra Club; Holds Member Roundtable to Discuss Commitment to Environmental Issues

MOORESTOWN N.J. – Today, Congressman Andy Kim announced the endorsement from Sierra Club in his race for US Senate. Sierra Club is the most historic grassroots environmental organization in the country. They have worked tirelessly for 130 years to protect wildlife and wild places, ensure clean air and water for all, and fight the devastating effects of climate change. This endorsement comes after Rep. Kim was previously endorsed during his 2018, 2020, and 2022 congressional races.

As a candidate who is looking to hear from everyone, Congressman Kim recently met with Sierra Club members to hear from them about the biggest environmental challenges in New Jersey. Video of roundtable highlights can be found here.

Congressman Andy Kim is a three-term Member of Congress first elected in 2018 and is the first Asian American elected to federal office from New Jersey. In 2018 and 2020, Andy defeated two self-funding millionaires in a district carried by former President Trump, and in 2022 Kim defeated his third self-funding millionaire opponent by 12 points.

In his three terms in Congress, Andy has worked hard to lower costs for New Jersey families and help support small businesses through challenging times. Andy has also been a leading champion in fighting against corruption in our broken politics.
