Congressman Andy Kim Raised Over $1.17 Million in Q3
MOORESTOWN, N.J. - Today, Congressman Andy Kim announced he raised $1.17 million in the 3rd quarter of 2023 from 12,045 donations, with nearly $1 million in contributions coming in just 7 days after announcing his bid to unseat indicted Senator Bob Menendez. Congressman Kim currently has over $1.9 million in his campaign warchest without accepting a single penny from corporate PACs.
“The grassroots energy to restore integrity to our politics is extraordinary as we raised nearly a million dollars in the last 7 days of the quarter after I announced my campaign for Senate,” said Congressman Kim. “People in New Jersey deserve a Senator who serves them with integrity, responsibility, and humility – that’s what this campaign is all about. I’m truly humbled by the surge of support from families in New Jersey ready for a new generation of leadership.”
Congressman Andy Kim was first elected to Congress in 2018 and is the first Asian American elected to federal office from New Jersey. In 2018 and 2020, Andy defeated two self-funding millionaires in a district carried by former President Trump, and in 2022 Kim defeated his third self-funding millionaire opponent by 12 points.
In his three terms in Congress, Andy has worked to deliver improved health care for veterans, relief for homeowners suffering from Superstorm Sandy, and has been a leader in strengthening congressional ethics and getting money and its corrupting influence out of politics.
